Double Chocolate Cookies

Image
Who doesn't like a good chocolate cookie? T oday I'm going to be sharing this amazing recipe for double chocolate cookies that I read on Tanya Burr's blog. This is the best recipe ever and I suggest you try it. As I've mentioned before I'm not good at baking so I'm going to be honest here and sa y I burnt the first batch but technically my brother burnt them. NEVER trust boys. So I made some more the next day which tasted soo good but I think I made them a little too big so they kind of looked a bit wrong. You'll see what I mean when you look at the pictures. So let's get started shall we~ You will need: ●200g unsalted butter ●1 large egg ●a big bar of white chocolate  ●2 big bars of milk chocolate ●75g cocoa powder ●275g self raising flour ●baking paper ~First mix the sugar and butter together until it becomes smooth and creamy. Make sure the butter is at room temperature otherwise it will take forever to mix. ~Then add th...

Gift Ideas

Hey guys, today I'm going to be sharing some gift ideas. I thought of making this for my aunt as her birthday will be coming up. So I've got some pictures which are really old and I thought I could use them to make a scrapbook that's kind of like a timeline. So this scrapbook would contain old and new pictures. I think this is a great way to make sure memories are not forgotten. Some memories are very precious and we tend to forget them as we don't really think about them much. But being able to have a physical book containing all these memories is the best way to cherish them. My aunt will love this gift as she will be able to look through it whenever she wants. Most people have digital cameras nowadays which you can take pictures on but you kind of forget that they are even on your computer. I think this scrapbook gift idea will be the best gift. The website I'm using to print the pictures is called PhotoBox and here's the link: http://www.photobox.co....

What's on my desk?

Image
Hey guys, today I'm going to be showing you the things I keep on my desk. So lets start with this candle I bought from home sense around two weeks ago. It smells of grapefruit and is just amazing. Grapefruit doesn't really sound that attractive as the actual fruit itself is horrible and just bitter in my opinion, but I just love this candle. Ever since I've bought it, its been on every single day. I light it when I'm revising and it seems to relax me. So if you have a home sense next to you I suggest you go there and have a look. They have a wide range of candles you can choose from. There are three other pots on my desk which I've ended up putting sharpies and hair and make-up brushes into. These also used to be candles and were from a salon called Tillie's. As you can see from these pictures I'm quite obsessed with candles. The make-up brushes in the pot are Real Technique brushes and there are also a few brushes from Beauty Base but I'm not t...

Outward Bound

Outward Bound is this amazing thing, if you ever get the Chance do it. Its basically a trip that lasts a week and during that time you do lots of activities and on one of the days you go camping.  I wasn't really sure if I wanted to go as it was for one week but I was like I'm not going to get a chance to go away with my friends for a week again because we're going to different universities so I might as well just go now. And as the time came I realised I wasn't very excited to go either. But I got through this and still went and can I say I'm glad I went. On the first day we did this activity called walking in the gauge which was basically a stream that we had to walk up. So this was a trust exercise and we had to be blind folded. There were three people who weren't blind folded and they had to guide the whole group up the stream and there were around 10 people in my group. This was scary if I slipped it would have hurt but luckily I never. However, m...

Mini Lush Haul

Image
Hi guys, today I'm going to be doing a small Lush haul. So I recently went into Lush and picked up a few things. I just love the way it always smells wonderful in there. I don't even know how to describe it, it just makes me feel like its summer and I love summer which is why I always end up in there whenever I go Westfield. For those you who don't live in the UK Westfield is just basically a huge shopping mall in London. Any-ways let's get started. So around a years ago I permed my hair which was one of the best and worst things I have ever done. It was nice at first but then it just went all frizzy and well it just became a mess. So my mum bought me a few products from Lush which literally fixed up my hair in about 6 to 7 months. The first product was a hair treatment called H'SUAN WEN HUA. So I literally don't know how to pronounce this but it does magic to you hair. Before you get into the shower you just apply some to your hair and then wash it out. ...

What's in my makeup bag?

Image
Hey guys, today I'm going to be showing you what's in my make-up bag. So lets get started, I have two make-up bags one consisting of make-up I use everyday and the other which has things I don't really use with other bits and bobs.  The make-up bag I use everyday day has all the products I previously mentioned so the Bobbie Brown eye-liner, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h foundation, Lush lip scrub, blusher from Laura Geller and the All in One Face Base Powder. All of which are fantastic products but there are also a few new additions and replacements.  Thought I'd mention my makeup bag is from zoella beauty and you can find it in Superdrug. Starting with a new mascara I bought called the Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara in A bsolute Black. As I had said before I hadn't really found a mascara that I liked however, I recently watched a YouTube video by zoella and she mentioned this mascara and can I say I literally love it. I've just used it once and it is a...

EXAMS!!

Image
Okay, so exams are getting closer and day by day I'm getting more and more stressed. There are literally only two months left till my exams start and I think I'm starting to go crazy. Time is going by soo fast and it frustrates me. The exams I'm sitting are some of the most important exams I will ever sit and can I say they are flipping hard. The jump between GCSE's and A-levels is massive and if you don't study you will fail. Trust me I'm speaking from experience and because of the lack of motivation I had I am now retaking some of my As exams. It's not really a great situation to be in as you have the stress from A2 exams as well as As and it's not a nice feeling. On top of that universities want a specific grade and if thats not achieved I actually don't know what I'm going to do. So if you're someone who's taking their GCSE'S or doing some other sort of exam please study hard. Before you know it your exams will be round the c...
